Terms of service

These terms apply when you make an account on Formaverse and use it to build forms and collect answers.
The service
Formaverse lets you write forms, publish them at a link, and read the answers people give. We run it for you as a hosted service.
Your account
Keep your password to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for what happens in the workspaces you own, including what the people you invite do there.
Your forms and your answers
What you write and the answers you collect are yours. You let us store, copy and show them only as far as we need to run Formaverse for you. You can download a form's responses at any time.
Using it fairly
Do not use Formaverse to:
- collect passwords, card numbers or bank details by pretending to be someone else;
- send spam, or spread malware or content that is illegal where you or your respondents are;
- collect personal data without a lawful reason to, or without telling people what you will do with it;
- get in the way of the service or of other people using it.
We may take a form offline, or close an account, that breaks these rules. Where we can, we tell you first and say why.
Personal data in your forms
For the answers your forms collect, you are the controller and we are your processor. We process them only to run Formaverse for you, as the privacy notice describes, with the providers on our subprocessors page. A data processing agreement will be available on paid plans.
Plans and limits
The free plan costs nothing and never meters responses. It has one published limit, set out on the fair use page. Paid plans, when they arrive, will say their price before you pay anything.
Availability and liability
We work to keep Formaverse running and your data safe, but we cannot promise it will never be unavailable. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, such as lost profits, from using it or being unable to.
Ending
You can stop using Formaverse and ask us to delete your account at any time. If we ever close Formaverse or your account, we will give you notice and a chance to export your data first, unless the account broke these terms.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will tell you by email before the change applies.
